The territory of the Kogis in the Sierra Nevada Moutains has a main river  ‘EL RIO ANCHO’, which gets very big in the rain seasons and become a real issue during 5 months of the year for commuting between villages. They need to build a bridge to facilitate the trasport of the animals and other heaving loading.

French and Swiss artists based in London, Pascal & Gene had the unexpected opportunty to visit the Kogis for few days last November with their friend Jimmy Carea, who has been working with these indigenous for the past 30 years.

These few days were so inspiring and the discovery of this people’sway of seeing the wolrd  was life changing. They decided to set up a project involving artists, who’s work is orientated towards climat change, and help the Kogis to build a bridge.

The project consists of an ART AUCTION that will generate enough funding to buy material and build the bridge.
The organisation of the auction has started and should be set up by the Spring.

If you are interested in the project, please send us a message and we will contact you when we have more information.
